Munzee - Scavenger Hunt App Reviews

Good game idea, similar to geocaching but a fair bit easier. Not sure if the lockup issue is app or server related.

This app has helped my kids and I cap quite a few munzees. But: 1 - The location on the map sometimes doesnt show correctly or doesnt show a pin when deploying. 2 - The gps locations on some munzees are off by 20-30ft. 3 - The support pages really need to be updated. 4 - App seems to crash quite a bit after captures.

Liking the app very much. Getting to spend quality time with my sister. The app does freeze occasionally,but hope this gets fixed soon. I love Geo Caching and Munzee makes it so much easier. I like the electronic option better than scratching my name on a tiny piece of paper.

Great way to kill boredom or explore some new places when traveling. Easy to use and get going!

The 6/2/16 bug fix broke the app. Munzees do not load on the map. I deleted and re-downloaded the app but no use. Fix it please.

We took our two grandsons on a walk. Told them if they found enough points we could get ice cream. Those boys walked and sometimes ran the entire 4 mile trail with not one complaint. I think this is the best app for getting families out and moving. We had a lot of fun.

Need to login each time you open app. Also, map view doesnt show nearby Munzees until you look at the list view. App runs slow on current iOS version.

Map zoom will not zoom out far enough to see any munzees more than 5-7 miles away. Very hard to make plans with this version of the app.

The new update limiting the map zoom is terrible. I need to be able to see munzees over a large area so I can find good spots to go hunting for them. Also it keeps logging me out which resets the filters. The filters should be saved on the account not on the device.

I used to geocache but I got in a few situations with snakes, chiggers, and poison ivy. This is much safer and just as fun. Glad I found it

It wont work anymore. Really love munzee hunting. Disappointed of the crashing of the app. Never worked again.

I was excited when I first heard of this app, sounds like a fun.

Pretty neat app

Munzees go missing, depending on zoom level. No auto rotation, so difficult to locate based on your direction.

Just started Munzees (and fitbit), and it is a dynamic duo for getting in extra exercise In a fun way. At first, I hated this app, but it turns out its just the default settings that are awful. Highly recommend the defaults updated! In the interim...select can zoom out in settings and fix the filters to show all the special Munzees and stop hiding the found Munzees. Another improvement would be to have more help support to describe what things are... Right in the app. Took a lot of toggling between app and Blog to figure this all out - starting with the Needs Maintenance and Unable to find usage and inclusive of decoding the various types of Munzees.

Wish this was more popular where I live

Great app, my kids love it- and I love how it gets us all out and moving around. Please update the iOS map, so that it shows your current direction. (Use the internal compass!)

I cant get the app to work. Even after updating it, the map will not load.
